The Fredericksburg Chorale is made up of people like you, your neighbors, fellow shopkeepers, merchants, doctors, students..., who share in a vision to create beauty, to open up with the entirety of creation using the one instrument we all have in common.

Behind all great endeavors is energy which excites and unites all who use it to change their environment in a beneficial way. Each concert by the Fredericksburg Chorale is an attempt to do no less than create a moment of beauty that will last an eternity in the minds of all who participate - both singers and listeners.

The Fredericksburg Chorale is a community choir open to all ages. Singers in the Chorale come from six hill country communities and meet on Monday evenings at Zion Lutheran Church from 7-8:30 p.m. to rehearse new compositions and classic choral works. We invite you to sing with us at anytime or simply stop by a rehearsal and listen.

In addition, the Chorale Mission instrumental ensemble is open to all musicians interested in learning newly composed instrumental music. Rehearsals are scheduled for Thursday evenings. The Mission ensemble accompanies the Chorale and also performs on their own.

Another avenue that the Fredericksburg Chorale has embraced is the recognition and understanding of great art and the ideas that inspire creativity. This understanding naturally leads us to encourage the creation of new poetry, visual art, compositions, improvisational vocal and instrumental music and dance. The Dialogues and Dances concerts that showcase a variety of artistic expression are held throughout the year.
